NLP - Neuro Linguistic Programming - is a simple and highly effective way of erasing negative thoughts - and the feelings that accompany them. Once you have cleared the negative thoughts, NLP is also a quick and easy way to re- program your mind with what you desire instead.
NLP involves becoming aware of exactly how and where you store the thoughts in your head.
For example, if I were to ask you right now to think of something that you are absolutely sure of, such as 'Is grass green?' What is your answer?
Your answer was 'Yes' but before you thought 'Yes' to yourself, there would have been a slight pause where you had a flash of a vision of grass being green.
Now think about where in your mind you saw that vision of the green grass, or whatever you saw to confirm it as true to yourself.
Was your vision on the right, the left or straight ahead of you? Was it up, down ?
Were the details of your vision bright and colorful, or muted? Where they moving or still?
What size was the image ( or images ) ?
This may sound like a lot of questions but it is just to demonstrate exactly where and how in your mind your brain views something it believes to be true.
Next, think of something you are unsure of, such as 'What color shirt will you choose to wear tomorrow?' or 'What will you have for lunch tomorrow?' - OK, if you are certain about any of these questions already try to think of something else!
Now, again, notice all the points mentioned above and you will find out where in your mind you see things that your brain is unsure about, as to whether they are true or not.
You can use the same process to find out where you see things that you know are definately not true.
Now, the point to NLP is that, once we know where our brains store all these different types of information, we can use this to our advantage to re-program our minds with what we want it to believe as true or untrue.
This is the way in which we can clear our minds of negative beliefs and old, unhelpful programming by choosing to move the images we see around in our minds.
The same goes for installing a new belief.
For example, say you had an unhelpful belief about money - maybe that it is always in short supply, there's never enough etc.
Using NLP you can take the image of that negative belief , see it in your mind's eye ( where you see things as true, as you obviously believe it is true right now) and move it to where you see things that you think are untrue, or that you are doubtful about. You do this several times in quick succession.
You are instructing your brain that this belief is not true.
The same applies in reverse - take a belief that you are doubtful about or subconciously believe is untrue, but that you wish was true - that you can easily attract wealth, that wealth is flowing to you etc
You will see the image in your mind where you either see things your brain doubts or where it believes something to be untrue.
Now, move it over to wherever in your mind you see images that your mind believes are true, and do it several times quickly.
That is just the beginning of what you can do with NLP.
